Temple at Sunset

I really loved the light on these shots. The temple is a little blown out, but it’s not as bad as it could be. I think that these have potential to make really cool HDR shots. I took twice as many pics as I used, but my computer couldn’t handle the processing.

Landon I live the river view the best. I like the transition from the light part of the sky to the dark part. it just gives it a cool effect. Nice job.
I like the river view photo the best. It’s cool that you could get the chapel in the shot too.
I like both of your merges. My personal favorite, however, is the “The Temple at Sunset.” I think that you framed the temple well and the fact that you took it from the Red Lion makes it all the better. I am planning on taking a photo of the Idaho Falls Temple as well for my enlargement so that gives me an idea of where to go. I really like the sky in the second image. You are right, it would be a great candidate for HDR!
Both of your panoramics turned out great. I love the different colors that were brought out in each of them–the colors are a lot warmer in the first one and there are a lot of cool tones in the second one. The sky looks awesome in both of them. I wish the sky was a little darker in the first one just to make the top of the temple pop a little more but the contrast from the trees really helps. Nice work!
